Based in Narrm Australia, is a tenant at Meat Market Studios and is represented by Sutton Gallery.
Almost a form of concrete poetry the premise for this ongoing work is an attempt to respond to the days headlines through art-historical reference. Creating word plays and image associations prompted by the day’s newspaper within the span of the day.
A desktop performance, the work has also become a meditation on printed matter. By the time the news is printed it is already old and the process of finding books in my collection and libraries is now a unique labour. Performing the pieces sometimes becomes an absurdity, sometimes poignant, sometimes silly.
A work in progress screening of this iteration was screened at Classy in 2025 which has now become the ACMI Experimental Forum.
