A collaboration with Rowan McNaught for SUB 12 at Substation, Newport. The way I remember it, Rowan and I discussed objects of navigation and travel, a cage, an ancient Chinese compass, a Beuys inspired sled and a pallet. We thought about exploding these objects, which Rowan did virtually, I then remade these exploded parts and we projected various images on to them. A slow moving gradient and drawings, inscribing the debris with new content.
