In 2018 I digitized my music collection. I came across REM’s album Out of Time from 1991 during the process - the title seemed quite ironic given what I was doing. The object of the CD spoke to another era, despite being only 27 years ago. I felt like Walter Benjamin wondering his Parisian arcades.
